Eastleigh College

This project comprised the design and construction of a new single storey block of 7 classrooms, occupying the south east corner of the College campus site, adjacent the main entrance and reception, with limited access and working area. We utilised a SIPS (Structural Insulated Panel System) method of construction, providing for lightweight construction with a short build time. Panels and beams were delivered pre-cut, therefore minimising site waste.

Bournemouth Commmunity Centre

This project comprised the design and construction of a Community Centre surrounded by 17 houses for Bournemouth Borough Council. The site is located in a residential area of Bournemouth and, due to site constraints involving maintenance of a vehicular access during construction, the project was best delivered using a phased programme of works to allow for access arrangements. The Community Centre has achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.

Majestic House – Parsons and Joyce – £800,000

The company was appointed to completely refurbish and renovate this former commercial block into modern office suites and luxury flats in the centre of Poole. The project itself comprised SFS framing, insulated render and internal plasterworks.

St Edwards School – Morgan Sindall – £125,000

Dorset drylining were appointed to undertake the external framing and insulated render on the recently constructed new teaching block.

Jumpers Development – Rok Build – Contract Value £650,000

One of the largest projects undertaken by Dorset Drylining, this project comprised of an 80 bed and a 45 bed residential care home with 12 flats and 6 houses on the Jumpers Road, Christchurch.

Bridge / Signal House – ISG Pearce – Contract Value £225,000

This block of 46 flats, comprising 26 affordable apartments for rent and 20 apartments for sale was designed to regenerate an existing site within Dorchester to protect the countryside and limit out of town developments in the area. The companies’ works included the internal drylining and plastering of the entire development.

 

Queen Mother Square – Woodpecker – Contract Value £300,000

In association with the Duchy of Cornwall, Dorset Drylining has been heavily involved with development of the extensive site at Poundbury. The first phase of works was officially opened by Her Royal Highness the Queen in 2011

Poole High School

An extension to provide a larger dining room and new sports changing facilities at ground floor level and additional classrooms above. The site was in the middle of the school and tested the team’s ability to build whilst minimising disruption to the ongoing activities of the campus.

Dorset Drylining worked on all of the internal partitioning, specialist suspended ceilings systems, plasterworks and external rendering on this threes storey residential care home in Corfe Mullen.

These recently completed luxury houses in Canford Cliffs showcase the high quality workmanship embodied by Dorset Drylining. The class and grandeur of these Queen Anne classic style residence was achieved using traditional cut line rendering techniques and highlights the skill of our accomplished subcontractors.
